Yes, you can purchase frames only. Your frame will arrive with ‘dummy’ lenses – these are not recommended for you to use, but are disposable when you have your prescription filled. If you want to wear our frames and don’t need a prescription we do offer non prescription optical lenses with or without a blue block option. If you decide you would like to purchase prescription lenses later, just return your frames to us and we will add prescription lenses to them.  

Yes, we do, blue light filter lenses are great if you spend time working on a computer or are glued to your devices! They filter out some of the blue light emitted by our electronic devices, helping with eye fatigue, headaches and even sleep problems. We offer blue light filter lenses in both non prescription and prescription options so everyone can protect their eyes!.

Single-vision means a lens that can correct either near sight or far sight, but not both (as is the case with people who need bi-focal or progressive lenses). Single-vision lenses do not have multiple viewing zones, unlike bi-focal and progressive lenses which do. 

We offer single vision near options for those people who need glasses for reading or to see things close up and single vision far  options for everyone who needs glasses to see things in the distance. 

Absolutely! Just select the frames you’d like to buy and click the “Add to Cart” button to add them to your shopping cart. You will then be given the option to purchase prescription or non prescription lenses. Select non –prescription as you do not need a prescription to purchase readers and then select your desired lens magnification strength.  

Before you order, you'll need to enter a valid eyewear prescription (make sure its not for contacts!) and your pupillary distance (PD), to proceed. The PD is the distance in millimetres between your pupils, and helps us centre your prescription correctly in your frames. Make sure this information is provided in your prescription from your Optometrist. If you don’t have a copy of your prescription handy, simply call your Optometrist and ask them to provide the information needed. They are legally required to provide your prescription – it belongs to you! Alternatively, fill in your Optometrists contact information and we’ll call them for you. If we need any extra information from you, we’ll follow up with an email or phone call. 

Yes, simply email a copy to sales@harleymason.com . Make sure you include your name, email address and order number.  

You will only have “CYL” or “AXIS“ if you have astigmatism. Your Optometrist will either leave the column blank, or write “SPH” or “DS” only for your prescription. If this is the case, simply leave the “CYL“ and “AXIS“ fields empty when entering your prescription.  

 We sure can! For those who need stronger prescriptions, we offer three higher index options. If your prescription contains a combined Sphere and Cylinder value of ±3.00 or stronger, you will be prompted during the selection process to choose the recommended lens type for your prescription. 

If you need to change or cancel your order, please inform us at sales@harleymason.com within 2 hours of placing your order. Once our speedy team have started manufacturing your prescription lenses no changes or cancellations are possible.

Yes you can, most Australian Health Fund members may be eligible to claim a rebate. The type and level of cover you have can affect the amount you are able to claim, so make sure to check your plan with your provider and see what you are entitled to. 


After making a purchase through our online store, we will email you an invoice with all the information you need to make a claim. To claim your rebate from your health care fund, simply send through our invoice to your health fund for processing.

Returns and Warranties

For non-prescription items, we can offer exchanges or returns within 30 days from purchase as long as they are still in a sale-able condition and are returned in their original packaging, together with both protective case and cleaning cloth. Simply contact our offices at sales@harleymason.com for instructions on how to return.   

As each pair of eyewear is customised to the prescription you provide, we offer a full money-back guarantee that the prescription has been made according to the information provided.


If the prescription provided is incorrect, has changed or is out of date, Harley Mason is not responsible for the cost of the remake. As a valued Harley Mason customer, however, we offer a discount on any remake once you have sent through the corrected or updated prescription, simply contact our team on sales@harleymason.com for assistance 

Every pair of Harley Mason frames is handmade, which can result in slight variations in the fit of each frame. If the fit is not perfect when you receive it, a simple adjustment may be required. Your local optometrist will be able to help you with this service quite easily!  

All Harley Mason frames and lenses have a one year warranty.

In general, damage to frames or lenses caused by a defect in the manufacturing process is covered under our warranty, We do not, however, cover for mistreatment or general wear and tear.

Please note- Products covered under warranty can only be replaced or repaired, not refunded.  

Care

All Harley Mason eyewear comes with a sturdy case, and a microfiber cleaning cloth.

 

 Clean your glasses by using warm water (not hot as this can damage the coatings) and a mild diluted dish soap.


 Dry your glasses gently with a soft lint free towel or the cleaning cloth provided with your Harley Mason frames

 

 Avoid using rough materials such as facial tissue or paper towels to dry your glasses, as they may scratch your frame or lenses.


 Avoid using any cleaners containing ammonia (such as Window cleaners) or lotions (like some hand soaps), as these products could damage your lenses.


 When not in use we always recommend storing your eyewear in their protective case.


 Heat can damage your eyewear so avoid leaving them in the car or hot sun for long periods of time.
